Distribution:

The species is known only from the holotype from the Santana formation in Brazil.

Diagnosis:

This taxon seems to be similar to Eolepidopterix jurassica Rasnitsyn, 1983 (Martill 2007).

Worth knowing:

The age of the fossil has been estimated to be between 125 - 112 Ma (Martill et al. 2007).
