Habit:

Description of adults: Examined: Original description by Heath (1986). Forewing length: 3.4 mm, 4.0 mm. "Head golden; antenna golden fuscous. Thorax golden, tegulae purple. Forewing deep bluish purple; postbasal fascia very broad, especially basally, concave, submedian fascia broad, very slightly concave, subapical fascia broad, convex costally, concave dorsally, pale golden yellow; cilia bronzy golden. Hindwing bronzy grey, apically purplish tingeg; cilia bronzy grey."

Distribution:

The species is known only from two specimens from the type locality El Kantara in Algeria (Heath, 1986).

Biology:

Nothing is known about the biology of M. cyaneochrysa.

The early stages are unknown.
