Distribution:

The species is known from the Dzhungarsky Alatau (Kazakhstan) and the northern and central Tian Shan (Kirghizia) to Xinjiang in China (Bozano & Weidenhoffer 2001).

Diagnosis:

On the underside of the forewing, the black spots are not encircled in white. The ground colour of the hindwing underside is yellow-grey (Bozano & Weidenhoffer 2001).
