Distribution:

According to Harz (1975) and Heller (2004) the species is distributed throughout Europe except the western and northwestern countries, Italy and the mediterranean islands, furthermore in northern Africa, Turkey, Siberia, Kazakhstan, the Caucasus and doubtfully also in Cashmir and China. T. tenuicornis can be found from the lowlands up to about 2000 m (Harz, 1975).
