Distribution:

In Europe, the species has been recorded from central Europe, Italy, Albania, Romania and Bulgaria, as well as from the north-western and central part of European Russia (Karsholt & Nieukerken 2010). Following Küppers (1980), in Asia the species is represented by ssp. tancrei (Sauber, 1899).
