Distribution:

Anatomy:

Due to its small size and the characteristic, four white fasciae, the species is unmistakeable in central Europe. In western, southern and eastern Europe however, it may be confused with the similar Cylindera trisignata (Dejean in Latreille & Dejean, 1822).
