Description of adults: Examined: 5 , 3 . Forewing length: 6.3 - 6.6 mm, 5.9 - 6.1 mm.

: Head black, vestiture of hair-like scales on the head long, distant, black; face smoothly scaled, metallic greenish golden to coppery shining; eyes much enlarged, 0.8 mm in diameter, parietally closely approximated to each other, brown; labial palpi about 1 mm long, directed ahead, dark violet, with long distant black hair-like scales; antennae about 2 times the forewing length; scapus inflated, flagellum blackish-violet basally, distad lighter, bronzy golden, silvery-white in the distal third; thorax and tegulae bronzy golden to coppery shining; forewings metallic greenish golden at base, continuously turning coppery outwards, in the distal half reddish golden to purplish-violet shining; at about 2/3 a very broad, ambiguous and often indistinct, violet to blackish-violet fascia across about 3/4 of the wing width, narrowing towards inner margin, often not reaching costa; near the basis of the radial stem a short, blackish-violet longitudinal streak; fringe bronzy golden to reddish golden shining, at costa towards apex also blueish-violet; hindwing with broad scales, completely covering the wing membrane, basal third to half light grey, distalwards brown-grey with intensive violet shimmer; fringe consisting of two rows of scales: The proximal ones short, bronzy golden shining, the distal ones long, hair-like, brown with bronzy golden glance near apex, towards tornus whitish, golden shining; underside of wings grey-brown, without markings, but with intensive violet glance; fringe brown, bronzy golden shining, whitish towards tornus of hindwing; thorax metalic greenish golden to coppery shining laterally and at underside; legs blackish-violet with slight bronzy golden glance; foretibia without epiphysis (!); midtibia with a pair of spurs at the distal end; hindtibia slightly inflated, with blackish-violet tuft of long, hair-like scales and a pair of spurs at about 0.5 of the tibial length and at the distal end; abdomen blackish-violet with slight bronzy golden shimmer.

: Vestiture of hair-like scales on the head yellow to rusty yellow; face also smoothly scaled, metallic greenish golden to coppery shining; diameter of eyes only about 0.4 mm, eyes not approximated parietally; distance of eyes (frontally) about 1 1/2 times the diameter of an eye; labial palpi only about 0.6 mm long, with distant black and yellow, hair-like scales; antennae about 1 1/4 of forewing length, otherwise like in ; thorax and tegulae like in ; forewings also similar, but distinctly broader and generally darker violet in appearance; hindwings dark grey-brown with intensive violet shimmer, not becoming lighter towards basis; underside and legs also similar like in , but deeper violet; abdomen flattened laterally and pointed towards distal end.
