Distribution:

Subspecies batavus is restricted to the Netherlands (Bozano & Weidenhoffer 2001).

Diagnosis:

In batavus, the submarginal orange band is broader than in the typical subspecies, its apical end is less squared (Bozano & Weidenhoffer 2001).
